About Amos

Amos is a writer, director, and 70s folk icon living in Los Angeles. His solo writing credits include The New Yorker, The Onion, ClickHole, Funny or Die, and Night of Too Many Stars. With writing partner Nunzio Randazzo, he’s penned feature film scripts for Warner Bros., Sony, Netflix, Disney, and Amazon, and landed on the 2023 Black List. He is a founding member of the sketch comedy group Boat, co-writer and pretty decent co-star of Dig Your Own Grave, and series regular on Adam Ruins Everything as a deranged Uncle Sam. In 1973, Amos headlined The Troubadour for two months straight, dazzling audiences and critics alike with his folksy tunes, flawless tambourine technique, and casual onstage drug use. He passed away in a tragic riverboat accident at the Chateau Marmont in 1974.
